Life with Luke at 17 months!!
You are still the light of our world! You are into everything.... You take after me you hit the floor running in the mornings and go all day but by 8 oclock you are ready for bed:) We still give you a sippy cup of milk at bedtime, read atleast one Llama Llama bood and hold you till you go to sleep this is mine and daddy's favorite part of the day! We never want to put you down at night. We usually lay you down about 8:30 and you sleep all night (which you have done dince you were about 3 months) You go to sleep with your Girafee that makes jungle sounds and llama llama red pajama in the bed with you!
You are a picky eater (imagine that) you eat plenty of fruit but you arent into veggies at all! You arent a fan of chicken which is very surprising to me! We usually feed you fruit and either turkey or PB sandwhich. You are big fan of Fruit Punch juice and your milk!
Right now you are in to basketball! We take you to watch your Uncle Devin or (Dev) play basketball. You are so good at the games you just sit and watch the boys and every once in a while I catch you in awe of the cheerleaders:) You have learned to slam dunk and now you will even step back and make some shots while bending your knees and jumping. We have balls everywhere in our house! Your next favorite pasttime is going budin-budin which means riding anything with a motor! We load you and KT and Klide and ride the rhino when its warm outside. You also love to chase KT around the house poor dog she's getting old but she tolerate you pretty well.
You are talking quite a bit alot of it we arent sure what you are saying but talk non stop! Your favorite think to do is point and say "that" and well tell you what it is!! You can say Momma, DADA, Dap-dap, Mimi, KT, Juice, Milk, budin-budin, Bye-Bye, dog, deer, and duck. You talk chinesse at times and you and paw can talk in chinesse for hours back in forth.
We made a big decision this week you will start going to day care in the fall. Both of grandpas are upset about this but you need the interaction with other kids. We are so blessed that MiMi has kept you at home for the past 17 months and will contnue to until you start Daycare in August.
You are in size 18-24 months clothes, size 5 diapers and size 6-7 shoes. You are very smart we have a book of 100 words and you can pick out almost all the things in it. You are a very inquisitive little boy:)
I love watching you grow into a little boy, you are the definetly the highlight of my day when I walk in from work you run around to the couch to see who's home when you look up at me with those big brown eyes my heart melts. You are really the sweetest, most compassionate, energetic little boy. You have learned to give kisses and in the morning I get 4-5 kisses before leaving for work!
