And his name will be Canaan Michael Vinson!

After many weeks of trying to come up with a name we finally made a decision. We put alot of thought in the name. I really liked Kane after and old cardiologist I worked with but, Eli said that reminded him of Cain and Able in the bible. So my best friend Laura suggested Canaan! We were studying the book of Luke when we named Luke and now we are studying Genesis so it worked out great.

We had another ultrasound last week, Luke was able to come to this one. I had really talked to him about seeing baby Canaan he was really excited! The very first thing he said was " Momma I want to feed the fish" lol I said Luke that's baby Canaan and finally he understood. I can't imagine what goes through his little mind. Everything looked great on the ultrasound, I was 22 weeks and he weighed 1lb 3ounces.

I am now 23 weeks and moving right along. Everything is going great! I do get tired easily but I think that's just from chasing Luke around. Here are a few pictures from our ultrasound appointment.

Halloween 2012!

And Baby V is a BOY!!!!!

On November 1st I went for my Ob check up at that time I was 17 weeks and 5 days. While we were there we talked about scheduling my ultrasound, I really wanted it right away so she gave in and took a peek. Eli and I knew right away it was another boy:). We were so excited. I would have been just as excited with a girl. I am just thankful that so far everything looks good for a healthy baby boy. I have had so many friends and family have traumatic pregnancies that it makes me feel like "who am I to want one sex over another?". God has granted me the ability to get pregnant and I will take this blessing how ever he wants to give it:) Its amazing to me when you think about how awesome our God is he already knows this little boy and already has a plan for his life. We did a gender reveal with balloons in a box and let Luke open the box. He was so excited (not that he really knows what it means to have a brother LOL) but he is excited. I can't wait to see this precious baby and fall in love all at once again:) Here are a few pictures from the gender reveal and ultrasound!

I want to document as much as I can about this pregnancy so here I go! I am 17 weeks now and finally starting to get my energy back! Wow being pregnant with a very active 2 year old is very challenging:) My belly is really starting to grow and I finally look prego and not just fat! Here are a few belly shots!

Here are a few pictures from our day at the pumpkin patch with the Harvey's. We try every chance we get to get these kids together and for that we are blessed! They may not like it when they are teenagers so we have to take advantage of it now! We are truly blessed to have such great friends!

2 Year check up!

I took Luke this morning for his 2 year check up. This was his first visit with his new doctor, Dr Watson. His doctor since birth is leaving El Dorado next summer so we went ahead and made the switch. I was so worried he was going to act a fool (becuase he usually does) BUT to my suprise he did awesome! He walked right in and got weighed, and is height checked. We went into the exam room he sat and waited on Dr Watson's stool until he came in. He did so good I was wondering is this really my kid???? He weighed 32 pounds and he was 38 inches tall, so according to the Dr he should be around 6"4 when full grown. WOW I am going to have a big boy on my hands!  I snapped a picture of him on the stool. He loved Dr Watson and his staff and I am so glad! I love this little brown eyed, sassy, bundle of joy more than he will ever know~

County Fair!!!

We took Luke to the Union County fair last week. He went last year but he was too young to really do anything but look at the animals. This year he had a blast! Eli (he is really a great dad but sometimes he's over the top)  was really concerened about the swine flu:( All the way to the fair all Luke wanted to do was see and touch the pigs (lol):) We started with the animals, he loves animals! My best friend Laura and her boys were there also the girls from work were there with there kids. I wish I could say that the fair is my favorite thing to do but it is not, it's dirty, crowded and I really dont like the idea of a carney fixing my food:) but.... to see the smile on Luke's face is priceless. So we just all came home and took really good baths! Here are some pictures from our evening at the fair.
